Eku Energy is in the initial stages of compiling a Scoping Report for a potential 300MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at 1504 Gregadoo East Road, Gregadoo, NSW 2650. The Scoping Report is the first of many steps in a State Significant Development (SSD) application.
The BESS would include battery containers, inverters, transformers, and switchgear, helping to stabilise the electricity network by storing energy during low demand and supplying it during peak times. The project also aims to support clean, affordable energy, boost economic growth, create jobs, and enhance national energy resilience.
