Tom Best

Tom Best is Chief Projects Officer at Eku Energy, with responsibility for operational excellence across all our projects and Health, Safety and Environmental performance globally. 

Before joining Eku Energy, Tom worked with First Solar Australia, where he was responsible for establishing the project development team and developing projects in Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. With a comprehensive understanding of the National Electricity Rules and existing grid infrastructure, Tom has managed projects in locations that deliver the greatest network efficiency. Over the course of his career, he has held technical, operations, and construction roles in energy and infrastructure companies such as Fotowatio Renewable Ventures, Infigen Energy, Orsted (then DONG Energy), and Aurecon.

Tom is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Project Management.
