Sandra Grauers-Nilsson

Sandra Grauers Nilsson is the CEO of Eku Energy. She brings 25 years’ of experience in the European energy sector. With a deep understanding of energy markets, grid dynamics and the pivotal role of renewable energy assets in the decarbonisation of advanced economies, Sandra leads Eku Energy's continued growth in the development, construction and operation of flexible grid scale storage capacity in key markets around the world including the UK, Australia, Italy and Japan.

Sandra joined Eku Energy in May 2022 from European energy leader Vattenfall, where she most recently headed the Vattenfall Onshore Wind business across Northern Europe. Prior to this, Sandra spent many years in various leadership roles in Vattenfall, within the areas of production planning, trading and price forecasting. Prior to joining Vattenfall, Sandra worked for hydro power IPP Graninge AB and Norwegian oil major Equinor.
