Leatherhead BESS

The proposed BESS is in development with planning and environmental studies underway.

We are keen to receive feedback from local residents and the community about the project.

Project overview

The proposed Leatherhead BESS located north of the town of Leatherhead and west of Shead in Surrey. The project will connect into Chessington substation which is 3km north of the site.

The project received planning approval in mid 2025. We are currently selecting the BESS supplier and BoP contractor.
