The Kami-Tonno BESS is the first BESS for which Eku Energy Japan will conduct electricity market trading directly. This project represents an important milestone as we advance asset operations and trading in Japan. Through this project, Eku Energy Japan builds knowledge and expertise in the operation and trading of BESS assets in Japan’s power market, which supports not only our future business development in Japan but also our broader business globally.

1. Sviluppo

Il sito viene selezionato e avviamo il dialogo con la comunità locale per presentare il progetto e raccogliere feedback prima di presentare tutti gli studi richiesti per l'approvazione dello sviluppo da parte dei consigli locali e degli enti regolatori.

2. Pre-costruzione e chiusura finanziaria

Una volta ricevuta l'approvazione dello sviluppo, negoziamo i contratti con i fornitori e gli acquirenti e garantiamo il finanziamento del progetto prima della chiusura finanziaria.

We mobilise to site for ground-breaking and start building the project.

4. Fase di esercizio

Now the BESS is ready to deliver additional storage capacity to the grid and is managed by a team to ensure it operates as intended.

5. Dismissione

After 20+ years of its intended operational life, the BESS is decommissioned and the site is restored.
