We are keen to receive feedback from local residents and the community about the project.
During the peak of construction, we estimate approximately 100-150 jobs will support the project, with about six jobs ongoing throughout the operations of Monduran BESS.
Monduran BESS will have its own independent point of connection and is proposed to connect direct into the Gin Gin Substation operated by Powerlink, located approximately 500 meters away. The project is currently in development with planning and environmental studies underway. Monduran BESS is anticipated to be in operations in 2028.
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Country on which we live and work including the Taribelang Bunda, Gooreng Gooreng, Gurang, and Bailai Peoples, the traditional owners of the land on which the proposed project will store energy, and pay respect to Taribelang Bunda, Gooreng Gooreng, Gurang, and Bailai Peoples Elders past and present. We acknowledge and respect their culture, beliefs, contributions, and spiritual and historic connection with the land.
