We are keen to receive feedback from local residents and the community about the project.
The project site is closely adjacent to the Wagga Wagga 330kV Substation which plays a pivotal role in the interconnection between the Victorian and NSW power systems, supporting energy security and grid stability of the NEM.
The project is anticipated to be operational in 2030 and will generate electricity into the National Electricity Market (NEM) NSW/VIC Region with a proposed operational life of 20+ years.
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Country on which we live and work including the Wiradjuri people as the traditional owners of the land on which the proposed project will store energy, and pay respect to Wiradjuri Elders past and present. We acknowledge and respect their culture, beliefs, contributions, and spiritual and historic connection with the land.
