Rachel Rundle is Director of Policy at Eku Energy, a globally diversified and technology enabled energy storage business. She brings over 16 years’ of experience in energy market reform, policy, regulation, construction delivery, environmental management and community engagement to Eku Energy.

At Eku Energy, Rachel oversees and coordinates global policy and regulatory requirements, with a focus on the identification and analysis of market risks and opportunities across existing and new markets. Rachel has supported project development, market readiness and community and First Nations engagement across Eku's Australian portfolio, proudly supporting the delivery of Eku Energy's Reflect RAP. In addition to market and policy oversight, Rachel has established Eku Energy’s media and communications foundations in Australia and supported its market entry activities in Japan and New Zealand.

Rachel has spent the last decade driving Australia’s energy market reforms focused on the clean energy transition. Prior to joining Eku Energy, Rachel played an important role at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) during the re-design of Australia’s National Electricity Market through the Energy Security Board post-2025 National Electricity Market Design. She was involved in the establishment of wholesale and retail energy market changes to evolve Australia’s National Electricity Rules to accommodate higher proportions of variable renewable energy and distributed energy resources in the grid.

She holds a Master of Energy Systems and Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne.
